My client is currently seeking an experienced account support professional to join the sales support team whom monitor worldwide customers within the food retails markets on a full time, Permanent Basis

 

My international client supplies its continuously growing markets around the world with high quality frozen vegetables, herbs, and fruit with 4000 employees and 17 production sites in 8 countries. The family business sells in more than 100 countries and has a turnover of more than 1.4 billion euros. The mission is to preserve the gift of nature as pure as possible. achieving this goal thanks to an integrated network of growing areas, production units, freezing units, packaging equipment, appropriate logistics and thorough quality control.

 

You will act as the central point of contact with regards to product support, contract & forecast follow-up etc. By creating reports and analyzing customer data, you gain insights for the organisation and the customer. You dare to jump when seeing opportunities and proactively monitor and improve customer satisfaction. Your commercial attitude allows you to build strong business relationships. 

 

In this role you interact frequently with the key account manager retail, customer service and supply chain to guarantee a correct follow-up & gain internal support for your customers. You will report to the Group Sales Support Team lead.   

 

The scope of the role:    

 

·        You provide periodic and ad hoc reports on turnover, assortment, profitability, customised reports, both for internal use as for the customer 

·        You translate topics from supply chain/purchasing to sales impact (constrained forecast, foil problems, discontinued items…) 

·        Maintaining retailer’s product management systems  

·        Proactively support account managers by managing and analysing customer files, market data and product portfolio's and prepare customer meetings.   

·        In collaboration with the account manager you monitor, prepare and follow up tenders and quotations. 

·        Take the lead in communication with the customer concerning:

o   Item screenings coordination and article creation and introduction of new products 

o   follow-up of packaging (new packaging samples, first production timings, phase-out packaging stock) 

o   NPD samples 

o   Promo management (forecasting and analyzing) 

o   SLA follow-up 

 

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to assist in the successful completion of the sales processes and to ensure accurate execution (marketing, data management, supply chain, demand planning) 

  • You coordinate reporting related projects and are the internal communicator for customer-related questions (such as QA, internal data, material statuses). 

 

Your talent 

 

  • You have a master’s degree or relevent experiance  

  • 5-year experience in a large, fast-moving company in a customer service, inside sales or sales support role  

  • Building reports and analysing data is in your DNA.   

  • You work easily with new IT systems (preferably SAP) and have an advanced level of excel knowledge. Experience with Power BI is a plus.   

  • Customer contact & delivering service are at the top of your dictionary. A commercial, client focused mindset is a must-have.  

  • You love networking and are able to think on an international (group) level.  

  • You are proactive and take initiative to build a relationship with your customer and maximize the chances of success for each opportunity.  

  • You are eager to learn, to develop and to be developed. You adapt easily in an evolving business context.   

  • You are flexible and a multitasker which makes you able to manage complexity.   

  • You think in a solution and process-oriented way, and you embrace change, having a continuous improvement mindset.
